What You Will Learn in this Course

In Tie-Dye Drama workshops, we establish expectations of respect, listening, and giving everything a try. These expectations become our Group Agreement, and we kick off each session with a Question of the Day. After that, we engage in energetic games related to the day's theme, followed by drama activities where we create freeze frames or perform group scenes. Tie-Dye Drama values everyone's ideas and encourages creative expression. Finally, we cool down with mindful breathing and take a moment to reflect on and celebrate our positive experiences and achievements.

About Tie - Dye Drama

The founders of Tie-Dye Drama met in 2010 whilst studying drama at The University of Manchester. During their final year, they facilitated drama workshops with arts charities and schools. The workshop spaces highlighted the potential of using drama as a tool for empowerment. It was these incredibly poignant experiences that inspired the creation of Tie-Dye Drama.

Today, Ella is the proud co-founder and lead facilitator of Tie-Dye Drama. She can mostly be found playing a drama game (her favourite is a sneaky, follow-the-leader activity called "Detective") or scrolling through Netflix options.
